HOW CCTV CAMERAS WORK
CCTV (Closed Circuit TV) uses one or more video cameras to transmit video and sometimes audio images to a monitor, set of monitors, or video recorder.
Once an image has been picked by the camera, it is taken to the monitor and then recorded on video tape or DVR. The ability of the camera to zoom in and out is determined by the type of lens it has. CCTV is used in offices, homes and in buildings for security purposes.
